Some of our Favorite Artists to Support on Patreon

by Julia Reiss

These days, platforms like Patreon are changing the game for artists by helping them connect with fans in a new way. Patreon lets fans support their favorite creators through monthly subscriptions, giving them access to exclusive content and a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process. Plus, Patreon gives fans a real sense of involvement—by subscribing, they get to be part of the artist's journey, offering feedback, getting sneak peeks, and feeling like they’re helping shape the work they love.

We’re proud to support platforms that help our artists thrive, and it's amazing to see how much stronger these connections can make the art community as a whole. Whether it’s through exclusive tracks, live chats, or early access to shows, Patreon is a great way for artists to stay connected with their audience and keep the creativity flowing! Our very own Alex Blue, Derek Webb, and Ruthie Collins, use Patreon if this sounds like something up your ally.

Besides our management clients, two of our favorite artists to support on Patreon are Flamy Grant, whose music and vibrant energy light up every post, and Spencer LaJoye, whose captivating performances and insider content keep fans coming back for more. Here’s a closer look at their Patreon pages, where you can get a taste of the exclusive content they share with their loyal supporters, along with a brief overview of what makes each of them so special.

Spencer LaJoye

“I’m Spencer LaJoye, a singer/songwriter who believes everyone is made of the good stuff

This means my patreon is a little different. It doesn’t matter whether you can afford to support me with $1 a month or $50. You matter, regardless of how much you can bring to the table, so y’all get the same stuff. Obviously, your $50 is helping this hardworking musician make rent, but I’m also grateful for his constructive comment on my new song, and her personal email to me about my last album release, and their post about my show on social media. We all have things to offer, and it isn’t always money. In this community, I am thankful for all of it.

I want to write more songs, have bigger conversations, and create more space. I need your help to do it sustainably. And when you become my patron here for $1, $10, $25 a month, you join a family of folks who believe in revolutionary empathy. See, I believe that music can change the world simply by making us feel something, and that feeling something is an act of defiance against a system that would have us go defensively numb.” (Spencer LaJoye Patreon bio)

Flamy Grant

“I'm a singing drag queen working to slay the shame that was heaped on us growing up in American evangelicalism (or any fundamentalist, high-demand religion). This Patreon is a sibling-hood of shame-slayers helping people heal from religious trauma and feel empowered through fabulous drag, music, and connection to each other. Join us, and thank you so much for supporting my work!” (Flamy Grant Patreon bio)

“Discover how to market your tour and shows like a pro when do not have a big team or huge budget. Join the useful discussion on working with venues, how a tour press publicist pitches for coverage, and the tools/best practices to DIY.”
