If you’re like me and a serious Smooth Hound Smith fan, then you are likely aware that the duo just released their new album Dog In A Manger this year. The album is filled with holy harmonies and compelling storytelling. You can get the album here!
However, I deem myself as a person who was born in the wrong era. I long for the traditional rock ‘n roll sound enlaced with country and blues. Smooth Hound Smith’s “Stopgap Woman Blues” from their 2016 album Sweet Tennessee Honey is just that. The song takes me back to a time that I have never known, but have always wished to.
