If you live in Nashville, I’m sure you’ve heard of some venues, such as The Basement or Brooklyn Bowl. Venues such as these are known for bringing an array of acts, whether traveling musicians or local talent, to the masses. If you haven’t checked out these venues, definitely read below to get a feel for them, and check them out in your upcoming free time!
The Basement
The Basement has been a long time Nashville venue, known for hosting “New Faces Night” which is a favorite for locals. The Basement has seen its fair share of local and established acts, such as The Lumineers, Kacey Musgraves, Emmylou Harris, and many more. Popular for its wide range of acts, from country to rock and anything in between, be sure to check out this iconic venue.
Brooklyn Bowl

Brooklyn Bowl is exactly what it sounds like — a bowing alley! It’s known for it’s mix of mainstream artists, as well as local artists. A few notable artists are Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Post Malone and Jon Pardi. Brooklyn Bowl has also had its share of themed nights, such as Justin Bieber Night and 90’s Night!
Exit/In
Exit/In, with it’s over 50 year history, has welcomed a wide array of talent, from The Red Hot Chili Peppers to Johnny Cash. One notable artist was the opening act to Dianne Davidson at the inaugural show at Exit/In: Jimmy Buffet!
