Nashville, Tennessee is the home of some of the world’s most iconic music venues. Being Music City, there is a rich history that surrounds the venues. From The Ryman to Nissan Stadium, each venue has its own unique characteristics, history, and overall sound.
The Ryman
The Ryman Auditorium stands as one of the most iconic venues in Nashville, second only to the Grand Ole Opry. This historic building played a pivotal role in establishing Nashville as the epicenter of country music, broadcasting its sounds across the entire United States. Originally a venue for educational and religious events, the Ryman has transformed into a premier stage for some of the most breathtaking musical performances. Derek Webb has graced The Ryman stage with his former band Caedemons Call and Mary Gauthier played earlier this year for the Thistle Farms benefit concerts. She will also be back at The Ryman this October, alongside Jason Isbell!
Grand Ole Opry
The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville is an iconic institution and a cornerstone of country music. Established in 1925, the Opry showcases a mix of legendary performers and contemporary artists, offering a diverse lineup that spans the genre's rich history. Those artists include our very own Mary Gauthier! Known as "the show that made country music famous," the Opry has played a significant role in shaping the careers of countless musicians. Its enduring legacy and influence make it a must-visit destination for fans of country music and American cultural heritage.
The Bluebird Cafe
The Bluebird Cafe is a legendary music venue renowned for its intimate setting and exceptional acoustics. Since its opening in 1982, it has become a beloved spot for both emerging songwriters and established artists to perform. Known for its "in the round" format, where songwriters share the stories behind their songs, the Bluebird offers a unique and personal experience for music lovers. Most notable, Taylor Swift is said to have been discovered here. Many of our artists have played here such as Josh Radnor, Mary Gauthier, and Derek Webb!
3rd and Lindsley
3rd and Lindsley is a prominent live music venue in Nashville, celebrated for its eclectic lineup and vibrant atmosphere. Located at the corner of its namesake streets, this venue offers an intimate setting where music enthusiasts can enjoy performances ranging from country and blues to rock and jazz. Known for hosting both up-and-coming artists and established acts, 3rd and Lindsley has become a staple in Nashville's dynamic music scene. Our very own Ruthie Collins has perfromed at 3rd and Lindsley a handful of times over the course of her career!
