What do you want to get out of this internship?
I want to understand the depths of artist management. Specifically, I want to know the bits and pieces that go into running a successful company in the music industry. Since my experience revolves around audio engineering and production, I want to know how I can be valuable at a company such as Olivia Management.
What do you love to do? Hobbies? Activities?
Besides the obvious music answer, I love watching sports! I grew up outside of Philadelphia and went to many Eagles’ football games with my dad. I also cheer for the Nashville Preds of course, too! I also love exploring every Mexican/TexMex restaurant that I could find in Nashville!
If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?
Chocolate cake batter ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. Not the healthiest option, but the best option!
Favorite musicians, artists, genres, equipment, shows you’ve been to...tell us anything you love about music.
Let’s make a list:
- Musicians: Bob Dylan, The Lumineers, Lorde
- Genres: Pop, Rock, and all in between
- Equipment: Any microphone made by Neumann and any plug-in made by Waves
- Best Concerts: Lorde at Bridgestone Arena and Taylor Swift at MetLife Stadium
Why did you choose to intern here?
I loved the people and the close-knit environment. I wanted to spend my summer at a company that works together as a team, and I found that here at Olivia Management.
What is your favorite part about Nashville?
Nashville is a big city that feels like a small town. I never feel lost in a big sea of people, yet I still get to experience life in a city with lots to do.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
My goal is to help artists reach their fullest potential, specifically as a record producer, engineer, and/or artist developer. My ultimate goal is to win a Grammy for my production and engineering.
