Matthew Perryman Jones
Joy can take you by surprise. Just let it in. Little moments like riding a carousel can bring you back to when you were a kid playing in the summer. Matthew Perryman Jones does that with his music and he’ll be bringing those emotions of nostalgia, joy and everything in between (maybe even some tears) live all weekend, starting tonight at City Winery in Nashville, TN. On Friday, he’ll be at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, and on Saturday he’ll be at Open Chord Music in Knoxville.

SMOOTH HOUND SMITH
Smooth Hound Smith has an exciting show coming up THIS FRIDAY before they head out on tour in July. They will be performing in Lynchburg, Virginia at The Glass House with Medicinal Americana. If you’re in the area and looking for some weekend fun, you won’t want to miss this.

Hush Kids
Hush Kids will be performing at Musician’s Corner THIS Friday! Every weekend during the summer, Musician’s Corner creates a space for free live music in Centennial Park in Nashville. It’s a great way to spend time with people in the community and discover new music. Then in June, Hush Kids will be headlining the first day of the Indy Folk Fest, so if you want to soak up some sunshine and enjoy some live music from Hush Kids while you’re at it, both of these shows would be great to check out. And also coming up in June is their show at Hey Nonny in Illinois if you’re in the mood to wine and dine.

Lydia Luce
Next up, is Lydia Luce! Lydia just came out with her Azalea Strings - EP, showcasing her classical training and viola skills. If you haven’t heard it yet, I highly recommend checking it out, or even better, see her live! For those of you on the west coast, Lydia will be at the Hotel Café (stage two!) in Los Angeles next Friday (6/7). But if you’re in the Nashville area, you can picnic at Centennial Park and enjoy Lydia Luce live for free! It will be a fun Friday evening activity for everyone.

Jill Andrews
Last but not least, we have Jill Andrews, who has some exciting things coming up. She’ll be performing at the Earp Expo, celebrating with all you Wynnona Earp fans. Then if you’re in the New England area, grab a blanket and some lawn chairs and come see Jill Andrews open for the Avett Brothers at Champlain Valley Expo in Vermont! Or you can see them both again at the Cape Cod Melody Tent on the coast of Massachusetts.
